Meet the Courses Creator: Marga Grey (MSc OT)

Marga has served as a pediatric occupational therapist for over 40 years, specializing in sensory integration, developmental delays, learning and attention problems.

She has worked in both private and public settings. To make sure she is giving the best advice possible she collaborates regularly with Allied Health professionals, medical professionals and regularly exceeds the professional development hours to be registered at the Health Registration Board.

She always wanted to help as many children as possible. Her goal is achieved through CoordiKids as online, video recorded courses at affordable prices, are an effective way to serve as many as possible.

Marga initiated, developed and lead the pediatric team at Tyack Health (at the time, the largest multi-disciplinary practice in Australia) for 10 years. She founded the Bayside SPD Professional Interest Group to educate and to raise awareness of Sensory Processing Disorder.

As a way to give back to her community, Marga also developed a franchise of daycare centres in South Africa to encourage optimal development in young children.

This included writing the training manuals, training of franchisees and developing the business, marketing and operational manuals. “Better Babies” was approved by the Franchise Association of South Africa.

Marga regularly provides seminars, workshops and training for therapists and teachers, online and in person. Marga is also a published author, having written two books:

  • Sensible Stimulation
The Key to Your Child’s Development During the First Three Years of Life
  • Stories of Hope
True Stories of Challenged Children: How they were impacted by, and overcame, their issues with motor skills
