Buckle up for a mouth-moving extravaganza with CK Byte: Mouth, the supercharged online exercise course that transforms kids into champs of chomping, chatting, and singing! Packed with seven exercises, this adventure strengthens the jaws, lips, and tongue for epic eating, clear speaking, confident sipping, and even belting out favorite songs.

From babies mastering bottles to kids tackling tricky textures, these movements also help calm and focus—perfect for ditching thumb-sucking or chewing random stuff when anxious!

Here’s the action plan: start with the first exercise and keep at it until your child’s mouth moves are smooth and confident, like a speech superhero! Don’t rush to the next one—jumping ahead might spark a “nope!” moment. Stick with each move for five days straight, take a two-day break, then repeat for another five days. The repetitive sequences boost coordination, motor planning, and brain bridging, powering up clear pronunciation and fearless food chomping. They might seem simple but can be a big workout, so expect some tired superstars!

Got a picky eater, a mouth-stuffer, or a kid who chews everything? This course is their secret weapon to help conquer food textures and speech challenges. For extra sensory support, check out CK Byte: Sensory Modulation, and chat with CoordiKids or a therapist for more tips if progress feels slow after four weeks.

Here are a few games to play while building the mouth and tongue muscles:

  1. Discuss food and its various textures, tastes, and smells. Accept all preferences as natural as all family members will have different preferences.
  2. Blow bubbles using a straw in a bowl with water and some detergent. See how long they can blow and how much foam they can create before taking another breath.
  3. Lick the top lip, then the bottom lip. If the child can tolerate it, put different tastes on each lip, e.g. honey on the top lip, a salty spread (such as the famous Aussie Vegemite!) on the bottom lip.
  4. Sing funny alien-word songs, using different sounds to encourage a variety of mouth movements.
  5. Using a vibrating toothbrush, brush the teeth, gums, tongue and the outside of the lips.

Let’s get those mouths moving, grooving, and owning every bite and word!
